I am the missionary team leader for our ministry in Laos. As a part of our ministry,
our first mission project, we started bringing the English language and computer training to the Laotian community,
and particularly to Government workers.
After leaving Laos as a refugee in 1978, I landed in America with my family, but in 1994 I
discerned a strong call from God to return to Laos as a missionary. Since 1994 we have traveled to Laos on short trips.
Rose and I returned to Laos in January 2003 to work toward establishing a teaching center for the English language
and computer science.
When I am not in Laos I travel, from my Fresno, California base, visiting churches to share
the vision, my ministry, and the good news of what is being accomplished in Laos. I need to find key people with
a heart for God and for the people of Laos who can support my ministry to one of the poorest countries in the world.
Our latest project is Jacob's Farm,
the realization of a dream of mine. Ever since Rose and I returned to our home land, Laos, in 1994 we have
been looking for ways to make money to support our Christian ministry. In 2004 my father-in-law gave Rose and me 134
acres of land in Ko Kieng, Rose's home village two hours north of the capital. Here we plan on raising goats for meat.
Down the road we plan on adding a dairy operation, producing milk and various other dairy products including
ice cream. The profits will be used to further grow and support our Christian ministry
to the people of Laos.
